Licence meeting this Wednesday 6th March at The Masons Arms, Hopperton. Come along to apply for your licence, collect your rule books and fixture books, find out what went on at the recent NASA meetings and have a drink and chat with your fellow grassers. Please let us know ASAP if you would like your annual shield bringing along to this meeting.
Wednesday 5th December 8pm at The Masons Arms (Hopperton, A59) ALL York members should have received notice of the AGM by now, letters were sent out at the very beginning of October. If you have not received a letter please note the date and venue above. All nominations and proposals must be sent in writing to Nicola Jesse by 21st November. Big thanks to everyone who came to the North of England Championships. The weather wasn't great on Sunday but fortunately faired up for some great finals on Monday. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and it was great to see so many braving the conditions to compete on Sunday as well as the Saturday and Monday, well done! Thanks to all of the helpers from YAC and from other clubs, we very much appreciate it!
Please see the events page for full info about the North of England Championships this coming weekend (including Saturdays racing and qualifying). North Yorkshire League qualifiers don't forget - You must be paid/registered by 2pm on Saturday, your 3 races will take place from 3pm, and you car MUST be as per the 2012 rule book!
Thank you to everyone that attended our meeting on 9th April, even if the weather wasn't quite on our side. Its been great to have already run 3 successful meetings so early on in the season, thank you for your support. Look forward to seeing everyone again on Sunday 29th April which is round 1 of National Qualifying. PLEASE NOTE you must have registered and paid up by 9am on that morning if you wish to qualify.
Racing is ON this Monday. 10.00am start, minimum 3 heats and finals. Field opens 3pm Saturday. If you are scheduled for work party please ensure you turn up and help throughout the day (click on the post heading to read the full post including work party list).
