On behalf of York Autograss Club we would like to thank our members for their support along with members from other clubs and even non-members for their huge help at our recent North of England's meeting. The weather proved challenging however did improve on Monday and we had some good heats and finals, topped off by the exceptional champion of champs races with Paul Watson winning the men's and Clare Horner winning the ladies. York Autograss club will be holding the North of England championships on Sunday 25th & Monday 26th May Proudly sponsored by Beaucare Medical Gates will open on Saturday 24th at 9am. ( Not Friday. ) It is one meeting over 2 days. Entrance fee is £20 per person, oap,s £10 and children under 16 free. Signing on fee £5 for the weekend in aid of YORKSHIRE CANCER CENTRE, LEEDS. Free camping. Juniors please pay gate fee at signing on. Saturday there will be a bar open from 5 till 12 with a disco. Sunday there is the bar with a disco and karaoke. Beer, lager and cider is £2.50 a pint or 5 pints for £10. Race format Sunday 8-45am Ny league qualifiers, class 1,2,js,3,5,7,9, J saloons ,4,6,s/hatch,8,F600 10, ladies classes 1 to 10 ( may be mixed if not enough cars but still separate trophies ) Monday 9am 1,2,js,3,5,7,9, j saloons, 4,6,s/hatch,8,f600,10 ladies classes 1 to 10 ( may be mixed if not enough cars but still separate trophies ) Scrutineering times are as follows Sat 2pm till 4 then 5 till 8. Sun 7am till 8-30 .
